Strength training is about more than lifting weights- it covers your entire physical development and what is needed to improve your physical performance. This can range from plyometrics to speed and agility training to core stability work and endurance training.
Many triathletes sacrifice strength training for additional swimming, cycling or running . However, a well-executed strength-training program can allow you to cut up to 25% from your swim, bike and run and help you prevent injuries.
