Dublin YMCA has been helping vulnerable young people in Dublin’s Inner City for over 160 years.
Youth work, education, family support programmes, community childcare, European volunteer service and community employment are just some of the services built into the very core of the YMCA’s existence. We work with young people from crèche going age, through to youth work, to education programmes for those who leave school early.
Dublin YMCA is open to all, regardless of faith, social class, ethnicity, age or gender. Our mission is dedicated to the growth of all persons in spirit, mind, and body. We value a sense of responsibility to each other and the global community.
Our Youth Work Team works hard to strengthen the local community by involving young people and their families in a range of programmes and activities.Read More

Many YMCA programmes aim to work with the whole family, providing opportunities for parents and carers to gain from peer and other supports while providing experiences to develop shared memories with their children.
The Support Training and Enterprise Programme (STEP), run by the YMCA, is a free training programme, that allows young adults to gain relevant and meaningful training and work experience.Learn more
